About the Role

As a joint custodian of the WHS management system, the role of WHS Advisor at Wormall Group is accountable for maintaining quality, integrity and currency standards to ensure the business protects workers from harm.

This role is responsible for supporting leaders to implement strategies to identify eliminate or manage hazard risks, Evaluate the effectiveness of systems and processes, contribute to continuous improvement and providing quality advice and information to assist line managers meet WHS expectations.

  • Support the WHS Manager to implement successfully agreed strategies to continuously improve safety culture and manage hazard risks.
  • Conduct undertakings in line with the company values;
  • Coach and advise business leaders to improve the use of WHS tools and processes in the field based on analyse and evaluation.
  • Mentor and support line managers to successfully implement safe systems of work, establish safe places of work.
  • Conduct infield verifications of the use and outputs of WHS tools and processes.
  • Support line managers to meet the required standard for reporting, investigating and completing of incident events;
  • Lead high risk investigations;
  • Analyse data and trends for weak signals and take corrective actions;
  • Maintain a high-level understanding of legislation impacting WHS for the hazard risks of the business;
  • Always maintain confidentiality and be tactful.

We are looking for an experienced Workshop Manager for our workshop is based in Cardup.

The Workshop Manager is a key role in the organisation and will be responsible for leading and managing the workshop operations and employees. You will need to have strong leadership skills, be an effective communicator and ensure the efficient and effective day to day operations of the workshop. 

The Role

Workshop Management: 

  • Responsible for creating a positive environment that inspires employees and contractors to work safely, efficiently and effectively to meet the business needs. 
  • Oversee the workshop operations daily / weekly ensuring all vehicles, plant and equipment are mechanically sound, safe, and compliant.

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards. The Site Supervisor will work closely with project managers, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure that all project objectives are met.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Supervising one or multiple projects simultaneously
  • Managing construction crews of labourers, drainers, road builders, utility contractors, machine operators including selection and coordination of sub-contractors.
